breakwater reading series

**Due to the coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, Breakwater Reading Series has been suspended for the foreseeable future. However, we are still working with the Cambridge Center for Adult Education to resuming in-person readings when it is safe to do so. We are also working toward creating a safe alternative to in-person readings that will provide folks in the Boston MFA and the larger literary community an opportunity to participate and engage in the series. Thank you for your understanding as we look for other ways to celebrate Boston's MFA community during this time of safe and healthy social gathering.**

Breakwater Reading Series is Boston’s inter-MFA program showcase, featuring student writers from Boston University, Emerson College, Lesley University, and the University of Massachusetts-Boston performing the best in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.

Six to eight fresh voices read in each installment of this popular series, presented by Breakwater Review and UMass Boston.

The monthly event is hosted by Cambridge Center for Adult Education (located at 56 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA), and is always free and open to the public. Come early to snag a seat or grab some standing room in the back.

Find us on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay up-to-date on future readers, schedule changes, and other interesting happenings.
