About the Project
Kaylee Rowena's work largely explores the tension of the word 'home' — a broken home, a happy home, a haunted home, a home that frightens and a home that soothes. In her illustrations, she explore various types of homes and the many ghosts, metaphorical and/or literal, that lie within them. She enjoys blending the monstrous and the whimsical to create a space where anyone can feel at home in her art — 'at home', here, meaning a little uneasy but ultimately protected by the walls around them.
