Shea Ramone Justice was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts. After attending Boston English High School, Shea went to Boston University, where he mostly studied Art Education and Political Science.
Shea has taught in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Boston Public Schools, and now teaches at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. He serves as freelance illustrator for the Boston People’s Voice and various other small print publishers. Currently he lives in Jamaica Plain, where he continually sketches of his son in various stages of growth for future exhibit which will approximately run 18 years in development. He is a member of BMAG, Boston’s Metropolitan Artists’ Guild. Shea counts Romare Bearden, Charles White, and assorted cartoonists such as Alex Raymond as influences.
