Adam Haslett’s debut novel Union Atlantic anticipated much of the recent financial crisis, and captures an intimate vision of the moral trajectory of America. Breakwater talked with Haslett about the persistent relevance of literature and why it’s not so easy to tell if and when you’ve become a good writer.
